Comment: The Veteran's Administration has changed their Agent Orange Policy concerning Thailand.
The VA now admits that Agent Orange was used on all US Thailand air bases during the Vietnam War.
If you are suffering from cancer or Type II Diabetes, your ailment may be due to Agent Orange exposure at Udorn RTAFB.
Please click on the following link for more information about Agent Orange use in Thailand:

Comment: Sir, I was serving with the RAF in Kuala Lumpur Malaya from 1957 to Dec 1959. During the latter part of 1959 a few of us were sent to Vientiane via Phuket and Bangkok in civilian clothes. We stayed in Bangkok for a few days until a visa was obtained as no one would give us one. Eventually we arrived in Vientiane and maintained the aircraft as they flew recc flights over Pakse and Savannahket. Meanwhile the British Government denied there were any british troops in Laos.

Comment: I was working in the Control Tower the day the Laotian Air Force planes bombed the airport and other parts of Vientiane. I was the controller that night and helped the Laotian T-28's land. One of the pilots overshot Udorn. Myself and the Thai controller used direction finding equiment and turned him around. I believe we saved his live. I believe they was 11 T-28's, one actually landed in the grass beside the runway. I have several articles about this from different papers.
